Often when we think of Ab exercises we go straight to sit ups and crunches. Although these exercises have their place, they aren’t my favourite abdominal exercises. So below I’ve listed my top 3 abdominal exercises and why!
I love Bicycle Crunches! They work all of your abdominal muscles which means you’re getting more bang for your buck! You can also do them fast or slow it down for a more controlled movement (and an epic burn)! If you only have time for one ab exercise – this is a great one!
Vertical touches target your upper abs (Your showy 6 pack abs!) I love this exercise because it is a targeted movement and you’re going to feel that burn real quick! You can also add weight to this exercise making it even more challenging!
Leg Lowers are amazing for targeting those lower abs which can often be forgotten about! You can also make it easier or harder depending on your skill level! The most important thing with this exercises is ensuring your back stays firmly on the ground. If you lower both legs and your back comes off of the ground then just lower one leg and build up that abdominal strength!
